Hi,
We have a 2006 Cobalt 232 with a 5.7L Volvo Penta motor and outdrive.
My question is we had 8 people on board the other day when we went out.
It seemed to me that the boat was struggling a bit to get on plane and up to speed.
The boat ran great and we had no issues except for when we got back to the dock and I looked in the engine compartment.
Normally I would have a slight amount of water in the engine compartment and I would turn on the bildge to get rid of it.
However this time there seemed to be a mixture of gas and oil in the compartment.
Was wondering if having so many people on board put stress on the engine and somehow there was oil/gas in the compartment instead
of just water ?
Any thoughts ?
