262 flag holder???

Anyone know what these brackets are for? Have one on port and starboard near the rear cleat. Boat has brackets for a ski tower that I can’t identify but these don’t look related.

The hole is for a flag pole.
The upright bracket is a bimini mounting bracket.

No luck with Taylor made or sealux… the bases almost look more like a rod holder or sun shade base…. Hole is 1-1/2” and at an approximate 30 degrees

The hole you're talking about is almost certainly a flag pole holder, but the bar across the bottom makes me wonder if it was a Tig Tech Marine flag pole holder for their twist lock poles. They were an OEM supplier to Cobalt for years, and you can check them out or get ahold of them at:
