So my buddy!!
I’ve been great, sorry I don’t drop by often but
change of directions, and schedules this year haven’t allowed much free time.
No worries though as I have my eye on a few threads I’d like to hijack.
Meantime fingers crossed on this one !
Talk soon brother!

Sounds good my friend. Yes we always love a good hijack every once in awhile and of course your boating wisdom…especially from the owner of the sexiest Donzi ever made.

Flip battery disconnect ON, radio comes on, bilge pump works etc. when turn key to right, used to get warning beeps, but no now. Replaced 5 amp key switch fuse, but it blew again. Do you think I have bad ignition relay or something more sinister?

Blows at 1 turn to right.
You really need to get a manual with a wiring diagram. For a start you can look under the dash and attempt to trace some wiring and see if there is anything touching anywhere.
One quick test you can do is to pull the man overboard switch and see if it still blows. If it doesn't blow, it's between the man overboard switch and the engine. If it does blow, the short is in the dash area.

Did you solve this? Same thing our 2014 220 this week. All accessories work but ignition won't get her started. Just a loud clicking, similar to what too low of a battery would sound like. Tried a jump pack...no love either. I guess too low of charge, pulled them both and bought new. Still don't even know what the charge was as the shop saw they were from 2017 and just suggested they were out of borrowed time anyway.
I’d be interested to see the resolution on this one. I have same issue, same year and model with VP 6-cylinder. Mechanic says hydro lock could be caused by burning hole in manifold, cheap aluminum. He’s seen this before but thought VP hadn’t seen a trend to do a recall.
