New to Cobalt ownership

Post by trs23 »

Hello All

Greetings from wet Seattle! The summer has ended here, but we're still getting some days to do some fall boating (glad our previous owners opted for installing heat in the boat). Earlier this summer we purchased a 2012 A25 400HP, always stored in a dry stack storage and with all the maintenance and winterization records - quite a peach of a boat! It's definitely lead to a summer of fun for the family out on Lake Washington under the long summer days of the PNW. We did a number of upgrades throughout the summer, installing a bimini and transom speakers for more fun on the hook.

Looking forward to chatting with you about Cobalt boats!

What a perfect boat for that location. Glad to hear you’re getting good use out of it!

Welcome from Wisconsin :-)
I can't believe a binimi would be a option on a A25! I can't believe someone would order a heater and no binimi. Odd. How is that not standard. How else is he equipped :-)
Beautiful boat.

I really wanted to go without the Bimini (loved the lines of the boat), however was over ruled by the admiral - she was baking in the long summer days! It's easily removed if a future owner wants to return it to the sleek lines. Good news is the Bimini allows me to mount our magma marine grill so we can grill while hanging out in the coves around lake washington.

I upgraded the stock stereo to a fusion marine radio with transom remote, JL audio subwoofer and JL amps, seagrass flooring, heater, 400HP Volvo Penta, it rides super nice at 55MPH when the lake is smooth!

Those are some of my favorite options from which to choose, TRS23. Nice job on her configuration.

How do u like fusion stereo? There app looks slick for Bluetooth control. Any opinion u can share? Btw, welcome from ohio...nice to know I have a new friend in Seattle. Been kayaking on your lake watching seeplanes take off/land and checking out floating houses. Loved it!
