Hi.
On a 2007 cobalt 232, to lubricate the remote control lever and mechanism how to do disassembly to gain access.
I must unscrew these two screws. There is some publication, video that teaches.

I see Volvo Penta on the control, If it were me, I think I would go in that direction rather then the Cobalt direction. good luck

Teleflex makes those for Volvo Penta.
Out of curiosity, what makes you think you need to lubricate the control? 99% of the time, the control is hard to move because of the cables.
