The polished stainless trim on Cobalt is beautiful. I’ve noticed some scuffs possibly from the Cobalt cover. I don’t trailer with the cover on it. Any recommendations or ideas on how to keep the trim looking good?

I had the same issue on my 2004 R6 outboard. The fix is a weld where the stem mounts to the baseplate on the underside.

I have a new R6 outboard with the sport tower. I’ve noticed scratches on the bright stainless windshield from the Cobalt cover. It makes me not want to use the cover. I’ve seen ad for Sealskin. Anyone else experiencing the same issue?

Greetings! We are a second time owner of Cobalt. Our first one was a 2004 250 with the 496ci motor. We ran this boat about 15 years. The boat we have now is a 2024 R6 outboard with the Mercury 300 v8. Top speed is 53.
