Can't speak to hole shot but from what I've seen the FWD drives lose about 3-5 MPH off the top end speed.

Did anyone else get the Cobalt marketing email teasing the release of the "all new" R26? Curious how this will be different than the current R6? It will come in both the standard and surf variants. News will drop 8/17/26.

I know you said you're looking at odd series Rs but I'm selling my 2022 R6 - has only 54 hours on it. May be worth a look.

Our family has made the difficult decision to sell our 2022 R6. Boat is great, just with our kids sports schedules, we were just not using it enough to justify the cost of ownership. The boat has been kept on a covered slip, on a lift, for it's entire life. See FB marketplace ad below.

We have an R6 with a 350, no trim tabs. Boat on Lake Lanier in GA, which I would consider a busy lake. Peak days there's lots of chop, boat does well cruising <30mph. Faster then that the Captain starts to give me grief. Hope that helps.

You will have to remove them from the rear unless there's an easy way to remove the dash piece that I'm not aware of. This pic is of mine, and as you can see, there's no bezels to remove to access any screws from the front.

I think since the maintainer wasn't working properly then it caused premature wear on the battery and that should be included under warranty. I would have thrown that out there just to see what their response was.
