98 cobalt 293 depth finder
Does anyone have any information/documentation on the factory depth finder for the 293? Ours just stopped reading actual depth. Still works when I hit the button but it just changes the max/min setting

Re: replacement for motorized stern light
What was your solution to the motorized stern light?
Some jack wagon broke mine off. I called Innovative Lighting and they said the motorized light has been discontinued. I purchased the manual 2'-4' telescoping light and the adapter. I haven't installed it yet?
What did you come up with and has ...

1998 cobalt 293 refrigerator replacement
Hey couldn't find anything on here so figured I'd try a new post. The norcold dc-340d-f refrigerator is showing its age and falling apart. I'm having a hard time finding a replacement and was wondering if anyone else had any luck replacing theirs. I'm struggling to even find the size of this ...

Re: Fresh Water 1998-2002 Cobalt 293
We bought our 293 just last year with twins and generator and Trailer! We love it so much we almost bought another lol but it was single engine with no trailer and just didn't have any power (the engine wasn't running right). I think you should be able to find another, just might have to widen the ...

Re: 1999 293 gas tank issue
Have you owned this boat since new? If not, may be possible that previous owner replaced the sending unit with an incorrect one.
You could always pull the sending unit and check its range in inches and then stick a measuring tape to the bottom of the tank to see if it matches.
We have only ...

Re: 1999 293 gas tank issue
I would rather my gauge show empty but have 40 gallons left than show 1/4 left and be empty
lol same here, but there just can't be 40 gallons left. At this point, that is the only thing that makes any sense. We of course have never run out of gas, but we get uncomfortable when the gauge gets ...

Re: 1999 293 gas tank issue
sorry I can see how that is misleading. We fill it up till it stops, topping it completely off (at around 70 gallons), and the gauge says full as well.Big Block Power wrote: Fri Jul 09, 2021 1:13 pm I guess if you run it empty why would you fill it per the Guage. Fill it up to you hear it coming up the breather?

Re: New Member \ New to me Cobalt
sorry to reply to an old thread here, but I'm looking for help on my 293 as well. We have the electric graco pump/macerator, which pulls sea water into the bowl. My question is, I have a macerator switch on the dash, but I have no idea what that is for, and it doesn't seem like it's doing anything ...

1999 293 gas tank issue
Ok this one has me puzzled. Our 99 293 has a 110 gallon tank. I have absolutely confirmed this by the sticker on the tank itself, however, we have only been able to put in roughly 70 gallons. BUT, the gas gauge says FULL! Has anyone else seen/heard of anything like this? We have ran it completely ...

New Member! 1999 293
New member here. My brother and I actually bought our 99 cobalt 293 just as the pandemic was kicking off (thank god) and cannot believe how great of a boat this has been to us. When we bought it, we just needed to do some cleaning and a few cosmetic repairs (like dash and a water line that was ...

Re: Talk me in to or out of a 293/303
We have a 293 and couldn't be happier. We have the twin 5.0s with bravo 3s and man this thing can scoot. Gets on plane faster than you'd think. Wish I could answer regarding the single engine but good luck. We've got almost 1000 hours on both engines and generator with no signs of slowing down
