Swim Platform - Cobalt 262 includes boat
I never got around to installing the swim platform. Boat got hit by hurricane Helene while on the lift. A few years ago, it got a new lower drive. Platform is $2500 and includes the boat!. NO trailer, although it is hauled out and on a trailer at the moment. This would be a great project for anyone ...

Free 262 panels
I replaced the panels on my 262 with Technographics. If you want the removed panels let me know. Might be useful for someone who wants to refinish a set and install once they are done.

Re: Hissing noise on Volvo Penta GI E 8.1
Thank you both. Yeah since the throttle bodies are the same I'll go ahead and put that muffler in there. And I do adjust the throttle to a point where it is not annoying my sensitive ears. Can also solve with a captains call install!

Re: Hissing noise on Volvo Penta GI E 8.1
Hum, now that's interesting! A Cobalt air box? Also, that IAC muffler looks like it is for Mercruiser, not sure it will work on this here Volvo. Any idea where I can obtain that air box? A Cobalt prat?
Thank you

Re: Hissing noise on Volvo Penta GI E 8.1
Haha! Yeah, turn up the stereo is a great idea! Well, with the engine hatch closed, it is much less noticeable. It just doesn't seem right to be that loud.

Hissing noise on Volvo Penta GI E 8.1
I changed the exhaust manifolds and elbows. All tight no leaks at least that I can see for now. I kept the engine hatch partially open so I could inspect for any leaks under load. I noticed an annoying hissing noise when throttling up between certain RPM range and it stops hissing at higher RPM and ...

Re: Looking for an innovative stern nav light
Slightly older post. I have the same and it does not work. Innovative sells an adapter to fit the hole size and mounts their stainless unit. I ordered both yesterday and will have installed next week.
