Re: Cleaning products

Thanks for the breakdown and alternatives.

I must admit that the old ArmorAll stuff you spray on car dashes left me leery about the ArmorAll name. Although I really like the ArmorAll cleaning wipes for general cleanup around the garage - really seems to cut thru tough grime. I don’t necessarily use ...

Re: Battery question on Cobalt 220 1995

My battery cables always seemed confusing so I labeled the cables “Batt #1” and “Batt #2”, respectively.

Even an el-cheapo Harbor Freight multimeter is pretty handy.

Re: 2010 242 Bilge Pump Wiring

Here are pictures of my bilge pump/float switch connector. The top half connector pins are numbered 1 thru 4 from right to left. Notice that there is a solid brown wire at pin 2 on the top half but no wire on the corresponding pin on the bottom half connector.

Also notice that there are two wires ...

Perhaps this schematic of the bilge pump and float switch on my 2007 240 will be useful?

Welcome back for the second time (or was it three?) !!

Sorry for all the hassles and tribulations.

I’m glad you finally made it over here. It seems the forum traffic is reduced from years past. For some unfathomable reason, the Cobalt Facebook group is getting tons and tons of posts everyday. Go ...

Re: Replacement ECM 5.7GXi-C

It will be interesting to see if your issues are resolved with a new or rebuilt fuel pump.

Perchance there is a chap in the UK who can test and repair your ECM if your problems persist? That would sidestep the issue of reprogramming a new ECM.
