I went with the Bote 7X7 and it fits in the compartment with the trash can in my R7 surf (under the bow seat in front of the driver). No way would I have had room for the 10x10

Re: Bote Inflatable Dock
I was thinking about the 7 x 7 for that very reason. Once it’s in the water sure I would like to 10 x 10 but it looks like a beast to transport

Bote Inflatable Dock
I am looking at getting a Bote Inflatable Dock to replace the Maui Mat.

Stowing the mat isn’t easy. We strap the roll up mat the top but it is cumbersome. I do not know anyone with an inflatable dock. It seems easy enough to store in the boat ...

Re: Trying to get a bigger wave on my 2020 R7 Surf
I added 10 - 50 lbs (500 lbs total) lead wake bags 500 yesterday. No where are you was substantially larger. Almost too big! I highly recommend this to anybody else trying to get a bigger wave.

Re: Problem Anchoring R7 Surf
Update: I got the large box anchor. It fits nicely in the compartment on my R7 and it works perfectly!!! I kept the old anchor and I set it off the back to keep me from blowing side to side. (also the added weight helps the surf wave some)
No problems anchoring anymore!!!

Re: Trying to get a bigger wave on my 2020 R7 Surf
Getting up or staying up is not the issue. Not saying that my technique can’t be improved but that’s not the issue. Very simply said...I know people that add weights to their boats to make the wave bigger and longer. I was just curious if anybody had done this to their cobalt R# Surf. As somebody ...

Trying to get a bigger wave on my 2020 R7 Surf
I bought a 2020 R7 Surf about 3 months ago. My kids love surfing, they get up easily, and surf without a rope. I use the “surf left” and “surf right” settings and keep cruise control at 10.5 mph. The wave is good...but...it’s not the best. I was talking with a friend who added a bunch of weights to ...

Ceramic coating
I get a lot of hard water spots and spend a significant amount of time wiping down the exterior of the boat after use. I just got a quote for ceramic coating which I’m going to pull the trigger on. They also offered to do the vinyl in the interior for an additional 850 (this includes a detail clean ...

I’m also curious to see if any of the anchor lines that are “bungee“ would be good to absorb the waves that are currently dislodging my anchor

Box anchor ordered. Talked to the owner today for a while. Nice guy. He recommended I go with a large. I will let you know how it works.

Re: Problem Anchoring R7 Surf
What size box anchor fits in the anchor compartment? Or do you just go with the big one and store it elsewhere if it does not fit in the compartment?
