Been a while since I’ve been here unfortunately. The good news is I got another cobalt. Picked up a 226 with the 7.4 GSI. She’s loud and proud and runs really well. Took it out for the first ride this afternoon and noticed a couple things that I would appreciate y’all’s feedback on!

Yes, ceramic FTW. Have done both my vehicles and boat. Like you said, very labor intensive, but makes regular cleaning soo much easier. Not to mention the glossiness that you get from the coating.

Thanks for the info. Sounds like the 454 is a must! I'm sure most here would agree with that. Big block or go home

Iowariverrat, how does that 220 handle the rough water? I've always liked the looks of them, but wondered how they would handle chop.

Yeah i understand what you are saying, but are you getting hard water spots everytime you go out on the lake and wipe it down? Maybe we are thinking of different uses. Either way, we all have personal preferences, i just dont like holding my nose!

BBP and A7, y'all should try this stuff. Smells fantastic and gives the boat a glossy and smooth touch. I'll paste the link below. You will have to dilute it, but its worth the 10 seconds that will take.
