It is likely easier to rent a boat while you are in town. Or you could drive over to Pickwick Lake (Iuka, MS) about 1:45 minutes from Sardis. You can rent a slip there and probably be more enjoyable.

no one else use a wake shaper?

A local guy takes your cover and extends it with same fabric/brand covers all sides and back. It took him about 3/4 weeks.

That was the BEST option I did. Highly recommended!
