Windlass circuit breaker location

Hi all, first time poster here. We are a few weeks into owning a 2026 R33, which has been amazing so far. We were out yesterday, and while raising the anchor it seemed to be dragging along a tree or something. Long story short, the windlass quit working after bogging down. I was able to recover the anchor fortunately.

I checked the 3A fuse that serves the relay, and it is fine. I can hear the relay click. I will check voltage at the windlass today, but believe there is a 35 A breaker somewhere as well.

Anyone know where that is?

Thanks!

I don't have an R33, but I'd check out the panel shown on p. 67 of the owner's manual at https://www.cobaltboats.com/sites/site. ... 5OB_OM.pdf

It's not a great manual, but it suggests it may be in the cabin behind the aft seat cushions?

". . . the anchor it seemed to be dragging along a tree or something."

Done that before. Reset the breaker and all was fine.

The more important question is: What did you do as soon as you felt the anchor dragging? It should never get to the point where the windlass quits working. There are various techniques for properly handling anchor drag on a windlass. Ignore them and you can cause serious, expensive damage.
