Fuel tank location in R3

Can anyone tell me where the fuel tank is located in an R3? I meant to dig for it before winter storage and ran out of time. I usually trailer with minimum fuel, but was wondering if it is far enough back to affect tongue weight. I'm at 10% and the boat is all the way back on the trailer. I wouldn't mind dropping tongue down a little.
Thanks!

At worse, it’s located over the trailer tires. Shouldn’t affect tongue weight at all.

I never store empty because I'm always worried condensation will create water in the tank. Here we have some pretty extreme temp swings so i fill up in the fall with a couple bottles of heat for a 70 gallon tank. Then in the spring run it to almost empty before I fill up again with a couple cans of Sea Foam.
Not sure about an R3, but usually tanks are midship just forward of the bilge. If it's full you should be fine as far as the tongue I would think.

Thanks—that’s were I thought it was. I was actually hoping to lower my tongue weight by filling the tank but if it’s midship...not going to happen
As for the age old store empty store full...in MN the concensus seems to be empty due to the length of winter. In my old boat I tried storing full and the boat ran like crap until I burned through the whole tank. I tried multiple types of stabilizer without any success. I also know this holds true on my small engines as well. We’ll see what this boat likes

The problem is ethanol.
It’s best to fill up at seasons end with stabilized non ethanol gasoline, easily available around here.
I fill it up pre storage, with no issues at all come spring.
If your options are only ethanol mixed gasoline, I understand that it’s best to leave the tank empty.
Ethanol is corrosive. I made the mistake of filling and stabilizing my snowmobiles two years ago with premium 10% ethanol gas for summer storage. Both sleds ran like crap, and I ended up siphoning it all out.

Gas tasks are plastic now so you don't get the rust and condensation anymore lo like you used . Run non ethanol for your last trip out and leave it as low as I can and fill up in spring

FYI the owner's manuals which can be downloaded on cobalt's website include the location of basic wiring and things like the fuel tank. Here is the diagram for the 2017 R3.
