Just curious why you are selling.

That's basically my dream boat from the exterior color scheme to the hard top. Though I prefer white interiors. If only capital spending at hospitals hadn't sucked since 2021 and may not improve for a few more years. Ugh.

That's a 6.0 VP yes, not the 6.2? Also curious what speed you see at WOT with that 430.

Best of luck with the sale. I remember being jealous when you bought it. Now I'll be jealous of the next owner. Such a sweet looking boat!

That sure looks like the 6.0L - I think the 6.2L was introduced in 2017.

Only entertaining selling as we're interested in larger twin engine models. It's been a great boat for us and I still think its the best single engine Cobalt.
Yes, this has the 6.0L. I believe the top speed is around 53mph, but not 100% certain.

Boattest.com tested it and said that top speed was 53-54mph, time to plane of 3.7 seconds, and it accelerated through 20 mph in 5.9 seconds and continued accelerating through 30 mph in 8.6 seconds.

New to the forum. I have been looking for an A28, I happen to think its one of the best single engine bow riders. This appears to have a lot of great options included. I would be interested in discussing more if it is still available.

Is this boat still available? Currently looking at an A28 but this one seems to have a few more options that I’d want. Thanks

Not a current forum member, but I'm sure we can 'initiate' them. Buyer is super excited about Cobalt quality and knowledgeable about why A28s are unique (I know I'm bias). They are moving up from a smaller Chaparral and I think the A28 is perfect for them. We had a fantastic final cruise tubing, swimming, lunch, and of course pumped out for clean delivery :-)

I should take delivery of a 2013 302 with twin 380s in a week or so. Looking forward to the extra beam and displacement on chopping days.

I'll close by saying "hello" to Lisa the new owner of a fine A28!
