How to remove fwd props?
Anyone have any insight on how to remove the forward drive propellers? I’ve got an r7 surf that has a dinged up prop that I’d like to send off for repair. Thanks!!!

This is from my R30 transom manual but I am sure the mechanism is the same...
FYI you can actually download all of the workshop manuals from the Volvo Penta website for free. First time I have seen that and they are *really* useful.

This was super helpful. It was also very easy to remove on my R4 surf. Wondering if the eight bolts that hold the retaining rings in are one time use only? Mine seemed to have red nylon material as I pulled them out almost like a nyloc nut. Could’ve been loctight. It was kind of dark when I was working on it.
