Breathtaking lake.

I may have missed it, but when they say cold...how cold/ warm does it get in the height of the summertime? I'm sure the shallows are nice. 8-)

That's a pretty gorgeous place. Someday :-) maybe Higgins and Torch in the same week?

Torch Lake stays cold until mid-July, because of its huge water volume — 858 BILLION gallons! Underground springs (45 degrees) continually add 48-50 degree F water to Torch Lake.
The sandbars warm up nicely

I can't believe they drive there boats up onto the sand and wait for the tide to go out.how will they get home. I don't think it is that much cooler than our Green Lake. It's the deepest inland in Wisconsin and it's not that bad. But then again we are used to it. If your driller yea your not getting in it.lol
Great place :-)

A lot of these people don't care how their getting home, we went to one of these 4th of July events at least 10 years ago, pretty crazy. My daughters were teenagers at that time and sure didn't need to see all those college age kids doing what they do.
The property owners have raised hell, and I believe the party has been toned down, upwards of 10,000 people one year.
We've also been their mid-week and shared sandbar with just a couple other boats 8-)

There is probably a reason that water looks a little green. It's what you get when you mix blue and yellow. Yuck..

No green in this lake. It's very clean and maybe 35 minutes from my house. The wife and I got married on this lake and on this boat.it was a nice and small wedding. She was 5 months pregnant so Max doesn't remember it.lol

That party really loosened up toward the end. The kid on the guitar really can jam too!

Both Torch & Green lakes are beautiful. Go away snow....bring on the heat of summer NOW!
