Add a stock Arch to a 2019 R7

Has anyone ordered the stock cobalt arch from Samson? If so, did you install it yourself? If you had someone else install would you mind sharing what it cost? I have the bimini now, so assuming the holes from removing that will have to be filled, worried you will see a difference in the paint. Any thoughts? TIA

I had the dealer install mine when I purchased the boat. It is something they are familiar doing. Cost was pretty close to the list price of the option. You will also need to get your canvas modified to fit around the tower base. Will Samson sell that tower direct to you and more importantly will they even make it since the towers for the even R's are different. If only the even R towers are available, not sure how that would affect putting it on a odd R.

We thought about switching our Bimini top for a Samson tower on an older model Cobalt but ended up selling and find a model that had the Samson arch and all the other amenities we desired. Took us three years but it was worth it.

I had Samson make the stock Cobalt Dagger tower for my 2013 A25 a few years back. They did a phenomenal job.

I am in the SF Bay Area and Samson is outside Portland, OR, so I hauled the boat up there and had them install it as well. No Cobalt dealer near me would touch a tower install for liability reasons.

Samson are great people - highly recommended.
