Sounds really good so far, working on finding a subwoofer.
Ended up with,
JL MediaMaster 105
JL MediaMaster Wired Remote
JL M600/6
JL M600/1
JL M3 6.5 Speakers in grey. (6 pair)
Ran 1/0 Ancor marine wire for power and ground.
Ran 12 gauge marine speaker wire to all the satellites.
Removed all the old speaker and amp wires.
Installed an ACR to isolate the stereo batteries.

Great job. Looks like a pro did it. How much time involved?

Thanks, been plugging away at this since November of 2022. Mainly on the weekends. Sourcing parts has been a big struggle for this update as well as waiting on shipping. Overall it has been a lot of fun and kept me busy this past winter.

Looks great! I did the wrap a few summers ago and it's holding up great.

Really nice looking work. I think you'll find JL Audio subs to be a nice compliment to their satellites. The enclosure will be key to getting the type of bass you are looking for; boomy vs tight. I'm curious why you added the extra ACR for the stereo vs. simply switching to one battery on the original ACR when using the stereo while anchored or at dock. Also, what year and model boat?

Thank you. My 2007 222 did not come with an ACR, only a 1/2/Both switch. I wanted an ACR so that I do not have to continually switch batteries while out on the water. I figure this way I will always have a starting battery to get back to shore. As for a subwoofer and enclosure, I am a fan of sealed boxes and one 12" woofer. Thinking of starting with a 12W3 4 ohm. The amp will be putting out 400 watts with that set up and if it's not enough I will have to go to a 12w6 at 2 ohms to get 600 watts.

Indeed, yours turned out really good, so I ended up running with your idea.
Thank you.

Looks great.
One question though. Are you running 6 pairs of speakers off the M6/600?

Three pairs of 6.5" JL M3 speakers off the 600/6. (6 speakers total)
