Hydraulic swim platform issue on 2015 A25

We were out hanging out in a cove today with the platform down. The platform came up as normal when we were ready to leave. Shortly after I started the boat the warning buzzer starts intermittently going off. As we were idling forward the platform just starts going down. I stopped and raised it again. After another 100 feet it does it again. Since we were only a short distance to the marina we just idled back. As we were putting the boat on the lift the buzzer goes off again and the platform goes down. It is now stuck in the down position. Anyone else had this issue or know of a fix? Thanks!!

Hey TcC. So glad you found us!

Can't help you with your platform issue but others here may be able to chime in. How about WD40 :D

Post a pic if you can. A25 is one sharp looking boat.

And welcome aboard mate!

Haven’t had that happen yet but sounds like faulty rocker switch or solenoid on the trim motors that activate the hydraulics. Mines been acting weird too and wouldn’t go down but rapped on solenoids a few times and it started working. I would start with that rocker switch tho. It’s where everything starts.

Does anyone know how to disconnect the “beeper” that goes off when deploying or stowing the swim platform?

We had a 2016 A25 and it was a sweet boat! I don’t know how to disconnect the beeper but we did find the litter speaker back in the engine compartment we put a small piece of foam and some duct tape over it and it muffled it to a reasonable level, at least to the point that we didn’t feel like a dump truck was backing up. The speaker is actually really small, it’s cylinder shaped and it’s about 1 1/2 inch in length by 1/2 inch wide. Our was not fastened to anything but just on the end of the wires.

I did not have an issue while on the water, but on the trailer. My platform was fully raised when I left the shed after winter storage. 80 miles later it was all the way down. It would not raise on the switch. Eventually, after checking fluid level and other things, I disconnected the lines to the rams one at a time and purged air. I haven’t had an issue since.

Mine is disconnected. After reading this, I will be hooking it back up.

Well, it sits on the transom and looks like a speaker. Have someone operate the platform while you look if needed. Then, I clip the connector.
