Hi. My Fusion head unit keeps dropping the bluetooth connection to my iPhone 12 (iOS 14.7.1). This is happening with different music apps (Music, Sirius, Radio.com). None of my other bluetooth devices disconnect from my phone. Ideas?

Do you have it updated to the latest software?

Happened with my wife's phone, she was getting multiple alerts.

Did you customize the device name so it’s unique to your unit?

See if the Fusion HU has an update.

Might another phone on the boat be making a priority connection over yours?

Agree. Also, seems to help having the Fusion-Link app on the phone/device to lock in the BT connection (+ allows full remote control of the stereo).

I cant get my fusion unit to be discoverable. I change the settint with the checkbox on the little screen but it never shows up in my list of discoverable devices on either mine or my wife's phone. Anyone else have this issue?

Had a similar issue when I first got my boat. Updated the software and it fixed a lot of bugs. I think the most recent software version is 5.70. I wouldn't be surprised if you were still on 5.40. Super easy to install the software update.
