Garmin background image on new R6 Surf

Could someone that has a new R6, R8, R6 Surf, R8 Surf or new outboard check their background image on the Garmin screen and see if it says the correct model for your boat? My says R8 even though I have an R6 Surf. I'm betting that Cobalt uses the same image when they apply their firmware to all new boats.
I'm not sure if these directions on Garmin's website would change the R8 image or not

Mine definitely says R6 and not R8 on my R6 Surf. Looks like someone made a mistake and uploaded the wrong model's background image on yours?

Yea that's going to take software to change that. They may just serve you a new unit or I would think the dealer could download it. Give them a call.

Im sure the software was on back order.....Everything else there is including return emails. Just be thankful you even got your boat.
