Camera - Garmin GC-100 Wireless Installations?

I understand that the Garmin 7607 GPS panels can display a wireless feed from a Garmin GC-100 Camera. It would seem that it would be nice to have a live image on one of the Garmin panels showing the the wake when towing tubes, skiers, or wake boards. The cameras are not terribly expensive ($300) and apparently only require a 12V power lead. They hook up wirelessly to the Garmin panels. I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience with an R Boat? Would love to hear how this works and how and where you mounted the camera.

I don't have experience with this camera but I had success connecting my Garmin Virb action camera to my 7607. I am able to control the camera from the 7607 (record, pause, etc.) but without a 12V power lead, its kind of useless as the battery keeps going dead.
