2016 Surf test issues today

Just purchased a 2016 R3 Surf and took it out for test today.
The port Ballast tank sensor would never read full and overflowed into the bilge.
The Zero off GPS worked initially then would only allow me to go 2 MPH when set to 10.5.
When we emptied the tanks the port ballast would continue to run and never completely emptied.

Any suggestions before we reach out to the dealer?

I'm sure the dealer you bought it from will take care of you. Those early surfs had some issues with the ballast. Also read up in here for looping the ballast tank water lines.

Glad to hear it was such a simple fix! I am having ballast issues as well on my 2019 R3 Surf. Gauge reads 1/8 full (but the bottom "button" isn't filled green on the monitor, just the 2nd one up at the 1/8 mark) on the center ballast, so it won't fill. You can keep pushing it, so it will fill for the "top off" (like 15 more seconds) and then it stops. Dealer couldn't figure it out last fall....hoping for some help as they pull it from storage in the next couple weeks. Any thoughts are appreciated.
