I recently purchased a very clean 222 with only 205 hrs on it, I want to put captains call exhaust on in and can't find much on it for my boat. I'm wondering if anyone on here has installed transom through exhaust on their 222?

I have installed captains call on my boat, but I didnt get a kit specifically for my boat. I just got the generic kit that goes straight out the back. not very hard to do, just sucks cutting 2 4" holes in your boat. Call Corsa and see if the do have a design for you boat though, they are very helpful.

I purchased a 1993 222 7.4 that at one time had a captains call and the owner didn’t have a very good experience with it. Said it leaked and got the engine compartment wet all the time. It may have been incorrectly installed in the first place. I will say that my existing through transom exhaust is way too loud to have an enjoyable experience. And don’t get me wrong I love the sound of a good big block motor. I am looking to possibly ph in some Hardin Marine exhaust silencers. https://www.hardin-marine.com/p-12609-4 ... flers.aspx

Hey Jim. So glad you found us!

Any thoughts on adding a switchable exhaust vs just the silencers?

Any pics?

And welcome aboard mate!

Here are some photos. Finally got around to getting ‘‘em up. Had a major family move so I hauled this dog from Chico, Ca to Lake Champlain, VT. Ice is melting and looking forward to being her out on the Lake. I bought the Hardin Marine tips and mufflers. Ill get some photos when I install them later this month.
