Picked up our 2017 R5 WSS(Water Sport Series) with 113 hours and Mercruiser 350 in January. Perfect condition. I think I got lucky finding mine. Was a 6 hour drive but worth it.

Agreed. Our search was "not worth a crap" before Covid...imagine now. Luckily dealers had new boats then.

Craigslist has gotten really bad. Besides all of the scammers all of the jerks advertising their bass boat and then tag every boat manufacturer out there just sucks. Same with pontoon dealers. So it's a pain to search now. Boat trader isn't much better. It's getting harder and harder to search for anything worth anything now.

No kidding on tagging every brand. How many people does it take to flag those ads before CL takes them down? That pontoon boat dealer can walk the plank/

Yes you used to be able to flag the crap not anymore. So it's a waste of time. I want to search cobalt so show me cobalt! You would think CL would fix it but they don't care. I'm sure they are making money off the car dealers maybe! But then again we stopped using them also.

bruce, how much did you pay? Just curious if this market is ready to flip so us poor guys can afford to buy a used boat again.

The scary thing is you could get a new r7 with a 380 for 10k more in 2019.just saying crazy. So not sure why you would pay that much for a tiny 350. I know it works great in that boat. If you do buy it and it has a merc in it add a drive shower so it cools the top half of the drive so it doesn't get all chalky like some ive seen on here.

I can only resist so many offers. I've always said that everything is for sale at the right price. I guess the times are living in are going to test me. Problem is, we are near the right price. I'd sell my 2020 R5 (1 season, 50 hr) for 130K.

It a strange time we live in. This will only be the 2nd boat I made money on. The first cost me 500 and I sold it for $500. I figure breaking even is making money in boats! :D
