My Dad let me have his '41 Ford pickup after he lost his storage and he was having trouble driving it beings he's 93 and his legs don't work like they used to. It's all original, Flathead 8, no sycro 4 speed that you have to double clutch to " find'em and not grind'em". He's owned it since '59 and is the second owner. It was a farm truck and the owner couldn't believe he would actually want it. Anyway it's now been passed down to me and will keep it original, maybe I'll convert it yo 12 volt which is something my Dad wanted to do but never got around to it. He did put a Columbia 2 speed rear end in it to make it more drivable on the highway.

That's cool.... I get keeping it original, but how cool would it be to do a resto-mod and tow a Cobalt with it?

Keep it as it is. I have a 56 Willys pick up that is all original(6 volt), and a 56 Willys wagon that has a 327 chev in it(12volt converstion).
Guess which one is worth more, and is the interest of everyone that shows up.

People love nostalgia, it takes them back to a much simpler life and times.
