Hey everyone,

We just bought a 2020 CS23. We can't use it till next year, but we are looking at getting a good mooring cover for it. We bought the bought that was already at the dealership and it did not come with one(it came with the snap in covers). I am wondering two things, 1- is a mooring cover worth purchasing for the boat(is it any more convenient than the snap one covers)? 2- our local Cobalt dealer wants double what a generic cover would cost, is there that much of a difference to justify the price?

Thanks

So will your boat be stored outside all summer or in a building? Trailered or rack or on a lift in the water. Oh yes the factory cover to me is worth the change. Aj will say get a custom one made which is a valid point too. You can get one with sides on it to protect the hull sides. I love my bow and cockpit covers. I also have a mooring cover.

It will be stored on a rack outside. For winter we store it in a heated shed

Yes that's what I would go with. That way you are not snapping and un snapping every weekend.
