Is it normal to see rubber grommet items/caps (like those that are on top of the multiple bolts the engine hatch rests on when closed.
Or O-rings like those on the large tower lock screws (One on each side), To be falling apart on a boat that is only 4.5 years old?

Or is that due to laxed prior maintenance?
Warranty items?

Yes a couple of mine go a year. $2-$3 each from a dealer. Ask for them under warranty

Well it can be from a couple of diff reasons. 1 largest is the sun. Also chemicals we use to clean the boat. Other can be just rubber it was made of. Yes the bolt rubbers stick to the top and then they fall off into the bilge or anywhere else when your not looking. They are cheap and it happens.
