First entry on this forum, sorry but due to a death in the family we are selling this Cobalt 246. Model year 2001, powered by the GM 502 cubic inch 8.2L fuel injected engine. 465 hours so far and it runs like a top. This combination of the 502 with the Duo Prop runs very smooth and it has lots of power. Just serviced the outdrive, new bellows and changed the oil. Volvo Penta outdrive Oil installed, there was zero water in the oil removed. The boat is fully equipped. Has a Wakeboard Tower, Sound System, Bathroom, Fresh Water Shower. New Batteries. Comes with a trailer which was just serviced, bearings packed and new seals, brakes adjusted and brake fluid flushed. The boat rides and handles very well even on rough water. We have an add posted on Craigslist Sacramento with many more photos and details, if you would like more information please take a look. The boat is located in Folsom CA just outside Sacramento.
I would be happy to offer any information I can. The boat is in very good shape for a 19 year old boat. It is ready to use today. We are asking $25,500.
Thank You for looking. It would be nice if someone that appreciates a Cobalt gets this boat. Mark
( I did see the rear seat was dirty in these photos, I have cleaned it now, Sorry )

A follow up and a Thank You, mtodd1402 and I made contact due to this forum and he drove 450 miles this morning to test drive the boat. The boat is now sold and it is going to a good home. This forum made it happen. Thank You again. The Cobalt is a very nice boat, quality build shows in all details and the way they drive is superb compared to other boats. If mtodd had not purchased we had 2 more buyers waiting in line. Very lucky, listed Friday and sold on Sunday.

Well that’s fantastic WMcd. It’s like match.com for boats here...with no finders fee.

All we ask for are pics.

My family and I are super excited to be Cobalt owners! Hopefully we can get get her in the water for a few days before it gets too cold. Thanks to WestMcD for being responsive, flexible, helpful and a straight-shooter. I'm sure y'all see me around the forums as I'm certain I'll have lots of questions as we learn about this boat. Particular shoutout to AsLan7 for coordinating the connection, thank you!

I was asked for pictures. Boat is now delivered and MTodd is the new owner. On the test drive we saw 55 MPH with 6 people on board. ( with masks )
At 7,000 ft elevation Mike said he only saw 47 MPH at 3,700 RPM. This boat has the 1.78 Outdrive, maybe you guys can advise Mike as to what props will help him at 7,000 ft. I suspect a top RPM of 4,500 would serve him better on his lake. I have to say, as a long time Ski Nautique owner, I loved this boat. It is a load to trailer around but a very nice boat.

I tried to modify the initial POSTING to indicate the BOAT IS SOLD, I could not figure out how to do this. I am still getting phone calls about the boat. Can I modify the topic to indicate SOLD? Thank You Great Response and I appreciate it but it is time to show it Sold.
