Looking for a cobalt 200 - maybe slightly larger.
Duo Prop with at least a 5.0
Year 2008 or older (can't really afford newer)

I'm in Illinois - let me know if you want to move one.

Hey Drekar. Welcome to the Cobaltchat forum. So glad you found us!

Is this your first Cobalt? How far would you be willing to travel to purchase a 200.?

It’s a sellers market right now but the end of the season might net you a good buy.

Again welcome aboard mate!

.

I'm willing to drive up 300 miles - yes this would be my first cobalt.

Looking for that balance of great family cruiser with the ability to do some watersports.

I’m in conversation with that guy. He said he rehoned the engine and now he’s telling me the plug housing is cracked. Would you pay 23K

I think I would see what else you can find, unless engines are your background

Thank for your responses - that's what my gut was telling me. After talking with him Ijust didn't trust him - he seemed to be covering up something. Then he also mention that the housing for the plug on the port side was cracked so we couldn't even water test it.

I'll keep waiting - hopefully something comes up. I've only heard great things about cobalts and I'd like to think this would be a boat that I would hold onto for a long time.

I had a 2004 loved it but it was just a hair or 2 ft to short. Kind of like me. Lol did a 220 also. Unless space is a issue.

Where do you boat?

I boat on smaller lakes in Illinois - sometimes Lake Geneva or the Mississippi.

I think a 200 or a 206 would be perfect for me.

There are a couple of nice ones in Seattle WA. You willing to drive or ship?

Look at the Seattle Washington CL
Or just Washington CL in general. I threw a dealer a low ball and he took it on a few of mine. They really don't want them sitting around over the winter. This black one could be a deal. Needs a trailer. I'm not sure if the fit that bought my 222 still has his old trailer but I could check. If would be perfect for this boat but that doesn't help for transportation.

I have my 210 for sale, it might be a little more than you were originally looking at but it also only has 154 hours and comes with the trailer. The price is negotiable, message me if you’re interested.
