Starting this weekend my trim reading started bouncing around. In this video it went as high as 8% but it has jumped into the 30's while driving. I don't think the engine is actually moving as I got to think I would notice that kind of movement while underway. Any suggestions on what/where to check it out?

Heck I think you're phone is moving more than the Guage.

Dam iPhone needs auto stable. Lol
Prob the sensor on the drive. Mine does that so I just go faster till it stops bouncing

Mine does the same thing on a 2013 242. I’ve talked to a mechanic and it is kind of a common issue. I don’t know if there’s a good fix for that but they said it has something to do with voltage in the sending unit or in the pick up itself. Mine does not do it all the time. Some what frustrating.

I had this problem, turned out the wire to the sensor was perforated, in fact sometimes my boat wouldn't start, my computer said that the trim was too high. I had the sensor, wires and pump replaced on the 2013 242.
