Good evening folks—

First time poster here. I grew up on cobalts and have owned a handful of different small hunting and fishing boats. I joined the Marine Corps with no kids and bid farewell to the Marine Corps a few months ago with three. Not sure how that happened..... but I am introducing my young kids to lake life. I’m looking for a early 2000s 21 ft to 25 ft cobalt. 5.7/7.4 and duoprop much preferred, but not deal breakers.

I’m located in Arkansas but willing to hit the road for the right boat. Thanks in advance.

Austin

Hey Austin. Welcome to the Cobaltchat forum. So glad you found us!

You’re right in the Cobalt runabout sweet spot with that size. If you can afford a big block make the jump. You won’t regret it. It’s a sellers market right now so your selection might be scarce. Where and how do you boat?

Thanks for your service and welcome aboard mate!

.

Many thanks. I’m at Greers Ferry, Arkansas. This will be mostly a cruising, kids-swimming-off-the-back, tubing, and—depending how bad the wake is—skiing boat.

Hey Wayne. Welcome to the CobaltChat forum. So glad you found us!

Any pics of your 293? Didn't you just purchase this? Feel free to start an intro thread with that. If you sell it, are you looking at another Cobalt?

Again, welcome aboard mate!

I saw this great 252 for sale on FB. It's a bit older than you've mentioned but the boat looks really nice.
