Where Does This Go??

Working on a 263 with a 8.1 (still) and I discover a wire on the port side at the rear of the engine compartment that is not connected to anything. It is a single wire and is hot with the key. Any ideas??

If you don’t see the other molex connector then it’s most likely for an option you don’t have RS.

Thanks for the diagram, do you know what the FW/WD Switch is? It appears to be in the location that I am looking at.

Do you have a fresh water transom shower and sink in the cabin of the 263? May that was the option?

That's your Fresh-Water / Wash-Down switch (shown below) & that is the Master power switch for the Wash-Down pump located in the engine compartment which as you know needs to be on so the cuddy-cabin Fresh-Water switch can bring water to the galley sink.

Do you have trim tabs, or a transom remote to raise and lower the outdrive?

I do have a transom shower but I have not used it in a couple of years. I will take a look tonight but I bet that is where it goes. Thanks for all your help!!!
