Help my boat is losing its identity!

Hi Fellow Cobalters,

My ‘03 220 is somehow losing its letters and crest. The “C” and part of the crest have fallen off never to be seen again. Does anyone have a link or source to buy replacements. My “O” is loose also, so I wanna do the whole side repair. Strange thing is there isn’t a scratch on the gel coat so I don’t know why they are coming loose. Thanks in advance for any help. Appreciate the forum very much.

Call your local dealer. They will have them or can get them. Yes it happens.

Also per the reason they may be falling off - If you have had your boat detailed recently, typically they remove the letters to compound the gelcoat in that area, and they may have reapplied them with lesser quality tape. Or the tape isn't sticking to the newly waxed gelcoat surface as well. It happens. OR, you may just be getting unlucky and it's time to replace the tape on all of them.

Fenders are notorious for breaking or knocking them off.
Ive actually trained my kids to fasten the aft fenders so they hang below them.
