Advise on Rear Sunpad backrest loose from swivel bracket

My rear sunpad backrest is loose from the swivel bracket. The backrest is loose and can be pulled straight up away from the swivel bracket. Can anyone tell me how the backrest is connected to the swivel bracket?

Without seeing it in person it would be hard to say how its connected. You can call the factory though, and ask for Rick in customer service. If anyone knows, he will!
