Dash mount for iphone

Looking at an adhesive mount for a cell phone on the dash of my A25. Has anyone tried a small swivel adhesive mount on the center of the wood strip between dash switches? Thinking this location would be ideal for a cell phone with the Navionics app. Advise on your proven mounting options appreciated but would prefer not to drill any holes in the dash.

Can't you find any ram mounts that go to the windshield or a support. I cringe just thinking of this on your dash. Just me. It's like other people cringe to drill into the fiberglass.

I used to use a seasucker mount for an Ipad that I ran additional chartplotting on. While a bit pricey, the seasucker line is adaptable to pretty much any use. Flexible extensions, multiple suckers, and the suckers really hold. if it will not fit on the dash, might be able to invert from the windshield.

Windshield mounts would not put the phone close to the middle of the dash where I would like it to be. Looking for another option for a clean install
