We took delivery of our 2020 CS23 on July 16 then headed to Lake Powell on July 21 with less than 5 hrs on it! It was a great adventure, new boat, new lake, new responsibility of owning the boat! I grew up with a 20ft boat and it was what my family centered many a weekend and vacation around. My dad sold that boat when I moved to Colorado 20yrs ago. We figured it was time to jump back in!
The boat is build with the sport package, VP 350, Garmin chartplotter with weather, and sea deck on the swim platform. The electronics really enhance vacation and time on the water.
Thanks to Great Lakes Marine for making this happen for us!

Welcome from Oklahoma! Glad to have you onboard! Its interesting to see the Malibu influence on Cobalts now. So how do you like it? How does she handle? Any new boat jitters or issues?

Welcome and congrats. Sweet looking ride. How fast does the 350 push it along. It has to do pretty well all around though.
Let's get some Powell pictures up in the pictures thread.
What state and lake will you be in and on.

When did they start your build? It seems like we saw a color combo like this or something similar back in November?

Welcome again from California. Yeah I like the custom exterior brought to the interior!
How does she perform with the max power package?

Nice pics and welcome from Missouri! I have to say seeing your color combo the sport interior is growing on me a little. I think it fits the CS series well. Not sure if I am ready to see it as an option in the R or A series.

We are really enjoying the boat. Yes, plenty of new boat jitters. I am getting my confidence back with every trip to the lake. The way the stern opens to the swim platform turns the entire boat into one play area. My kids go from the swim step run through the boat, and jump off the bow without skipping a beat. The tower makes a great diving platform for me! I may put some small platforms and grip up there. We have come across some large swells, the bow stays dry and I feel comfortable. We have had a few items to sort, nothing that I would not expect for a hand made product. Our dealer and Cobalt have been very supportive.

I have gotten 50 mph at 5600 rpm, we are at about 5500ft elevation. Littleton, CO. 30 to 40 happens by just looking at the throttle, best not to grip the throttle on the top.
The tow across the mountains was great! Part of the reason we chose this boat is that it is a package that is reasonable to road trip with. We have a Yukon xl with the 6.2L. I maintained 50-65 up the passes without beating on the truck. It was 107 deg when we were on the roads from I 70 south to Bullfrog, truck warmed up only 10 deg from normal.
