My wife and I just purchased our first boat, a 2018 Cobalt 220s. We were looking for a nice starter boat for us and our three boys, and we were hooked when we saw this particular boat. We'll do most of our boating at Clarks Hill Lake, although we do have plans to visit Lake Lanier and Lake Oconee. Happy to have found this forum; lots of good info here.

Haha..glad someone got the reference.

I just got my yearly denial email too, although I did get some practice round tickets last year. Locals seem to think that you have to be from out of town to get selected for tickets, but sounds like you're getting the same treatment.

Hey welcome to the Cobalt chat forum Richard. So glad you found us!

Love that color combo. What ya’ got powering her?

I’m guessing you and the three boys will be wake boarding off her with that tower.

Again welcome aboard mate!

It has the V6 Volvo Penta 240.

The two younger boys have already gotten up on the wakeboard with no previous boating experience besides tubing. Oldest one is working on it. My wife is real close to getting up on the wakeboard, and I've been wakeboarding and slalom skiing a couple times this year. First time in about 15 years. I was sore for about a week after my first time up.

It's been a blast so far.

Welcome from California! Awesome waterfront in Georgia so keep us posted on the different spots you go too.
Great combo... reminds of this outerlimits ( minus the tower of course)

Beautiful color combo! Welcome from MInnesota! I’ll be in Augusta next April as I lucked out and got practice round tickets in the lottery. It will be my 4th trip to the Masters!
