Hello from South Central Oklahoma

My husband and I brought our new R5 home on May 10th. Today marks 7 times she has been in the water, so far! Rain has not been a boaters friend this spring, in this region. I found this chat site about a month ago, by accident, and have read many good posts. Some funny, some informational - great mix! Our "main" lake we go to is Arbuckle Lake. Nice, clear water and on weekdays you share the lake with maybe 4 fishing boats.

Some of the Lakes there have been very high it seems. We look forward to hearing your captains report!

Welcome from a fellow okie. Arbuckle is a nice lake. Used to boat there, a lot.
Hope to see many more pics. Be sure and replace any salmon cans you use.

We bought our 242 from a guy that had a lake house on Tenkiller.

Perfect boating weather this week. Spent Monday through Thursday on the water with the new boat. I am tickled to death with the layout, everything I was wanting. Everything is organized and has its place now...ha.
The “Captain” allowed me to drive this week and boy oh boy is she smooth! Our old 1994 220 was a bit rough when putting it in gear, or seemed so to me.
Anyway, great week boating, I’m happy and so is the Captain (other than he was writing out a spec sheet for his must haves for a 2020 R7) Go figure!!
