Saw that, thought it was odd. I’m following it too.

Well I didn't know we had them but we just got one through the production line yesterday and they have the most unique hull process I've seen so far it's in between the R5 and R7
Well unfortunately I dont know much I'm only a grinder and poly core painter in the hull grind department but I felt like sharing the new discovery with everyone

They did say on the tour that we could repeat that the R5 was getting to be an older design, and the new ones would probably be even numbers (eg R4, R6, etc.) instead of odd. Sounds like it’s getting close.

Come on Matt - I expect better, you took a screen shot of that before they took it down right? Right?!?

Older design? Didn't it debut in 2014 or 2015? I think the odd numbers sound sexier...

R5 was a 2013 model year boat. It's time for a refresh.

Is the 220 the longest running model?

As keeper of secret squirrel items and photos I must admit.. I failed our brothers and sisters here..
My spidey sense told me to take it but I forgot.
AK came through with his post quotes so thankfully it’s not a complete unicorn!!
Let’s hope they go easy on him

as we knew the hull molds were getting toward the end of their shelf life, as others mentioned while we were on the tour.
R6...Still exciting to see future developments in the Brand we all loce!

Crystal ball time..
Our R3/5/7 models are outdated as we speak.
I would expect the R4/6/8 shortly, like very shortly, like this fall starting with the 5.
Hmmmm..

I’m guessing 2021 . The A29 was just debuted in Miami and no ability to spec one as of yet.
Plus he’s not sure except that the Mold is “ unique “ against anything else right.?
So we aren’t even sure if it going to be a R6 namesake. The plot thickens

It does Matt.
The R? It’s starting to age fast, and it’s their cash cow..their bread and butter. It’s almost in desperate need of an update. A year too soon is always better than a year too late.
The R series fits the family demo and a price point where it sells like hotcakes.
I think we can assume they will slap an updated label, such as even numbers.
I would gamble that the R”6” debuts in dealerships before the A29.
It would replace Cobalts best/hottest selling model. Should be an instant hit. The 29? I wouldn’t be surprised if we never see it. I find a single, one off boat with a weird and expensive roll up mat a little peculiar. Am I alone in this thinking?
