Hi
New member - came back to the Cobalt family after a few years of the big boats.
We recently purchased an '09 242 and would like to add a table (had one on our '08 242). I have found the brackets and side mount pole but am curious what the factor table diameter is.
Thanks for any info.

Welcome back. Really Google is your friend. Get what ever shape you think you may want. It's prob around 24 inches around. I just did a search boat tables on Google and bam there they were. 💪

Hey Pcarp. Welcome to the Cobalt chat forum. So glad you found us!

That’s quite a nice line up of boats in your past. Have a favorite? I’m guessing your most recent? :D

Post a couple of pics ....even of your prior boats. We love ❤️ pics here.

Welcome aboard mate!

Thanks for the welcome and comments. I will post pics as I get them. I am thinking 24” teak table, I added a larger teak table to our last sea ray and it was beautiful.
All of the boats have been great, they fit different phases in our boating life. We are looking forward to going back to inland lakes for a change.

Great install, where were you able to purchase the table and hardware? I can find all the hardware at iBoats, however you have to buy each part separately. Did you find a place to buy it as a kit?
Do you have the vertical measurement between table and seat?

I think I got it from wholesale marine? I had the table already, I have the factory leg but I could never get the mount so I switched to taco marine. But Garelick makes pretty much the same thing.
I would have to measure it. It works well. I didn't want it in the walk way. My 200 had it in the walk way and was a real pain going in and out of the boat.
I just mounted it where I liked the height. Plus depending where you mount it desides the height. Getting in the seat The floor made the choice easy. And getting the pole out with the seat in place made a diff. I put clear tape where the mount is so the gel didn't get all scratched up too.

Thanks for the links, I like the taco style leg and brackets. Thinking of going with this teak table top.

Planning on the 25" diameter table top, add 3 coats of spar varnish and it should be nice.

Sweet I think that's sharp. The garelick prob holds tighter in the bracket though. Mines ok but that's the only downfall. It moves a bit in there.

Try Kendor Marine, they have good used parts. I’ll be stopping there after I finish up a couple other little projects to see if they have a table setup in the parts yard.

Like something out of the Sea Ray brochure Pcarp. Nice job. It appears that the table is movable correct?

Yes, that table had a weighted base. It was really nice to be able to slide the table around to accomadate different situations. But that was a boat with 14’ of beam so there was lots of room for “activities”. (step brothers reference)😉
