Hello. My new to me cobalt 200 which Has a wake tower on it the light post and light have broke off. I’m not sure how to fix this. Any ideas

Call Samson sports www.samsonsports.com. They are the manufacture of the tower. They sold me a light before and touch up paint. I am sure they can advise on the base. Get some touch up paint from them too.

Surely Crown there is more to this story. Did the light fall off? Came out one day and it was damaged? Was it operator error?

This is a new to me boat. Previous owner said they accidentally put the toe rope up on the light. It broke off or should I say broke off at the threads. They glued it. Said it only needed the light. Not. I’ll have to drill out the broken stud, redfish the wires through.

I think it hit the garage door. Lmao.

Yep. I hate that sounds though. The cracking noise

The light on top of the tower on my R5 is maybe the only fault I can find in the boat. It twists 1/4 turn to lock in place in and never seems to stay in place. I'm likely going to use a bit of 3M body side molding acrylic tape on it this spring so I don't have to pop it back in place a dozen times like I did last summer.

Got the parts in and repaired the broken threads and new light and rope saver!

Great fix. How easy was the job? What did u have to do?
