Welcome from Oklahoma! Nice boat and by doing upgrades it's a proven fact the winter will go by quicker..
What part of Iowa are you in? My son and his family are in Boone, and bigassblock is right by Saylorville Lake.

Welcome from California! Super clean looking. Looks like you have a great place to admire her. Have you taken it out?
How did they stack it ? ( I didn’t see a garage door behind her?
Do you have a trailer?’
Sheesh with the questions. Lol

One of my favorite classic color schemes iaff.....

So glad you found us. You'll make quite a few memories on her. Thanks for posting a pic too. Had to look twice at your registration. It almost looked Russian with that font style. :ugeek:

How did you get into Cobalt boats?
Btw, is it hard to pull your 206 on that new cinder block trailer? :D

....and welcome aboard mate!

.

Don't be silly A7. Surely you recognize that trailer as one that goes in the invisible boat thread!

Thanks for the warm welcome. I'm in a town called Carlisle, just southeast of Des Moines. @Ytmsn, Been to Boone many times, they are in our conference for high school sportsball games and such. Saylorville will be the home but Red Rock and Coralville Reservoirs are not far away and I have family at both. @Cmattj, the garage door is in front, thats the wash bay at the dealer. It didn't come with a a trailer so I had to buy a new one which I wasn't thrilled about but at least I know it'll be in good shape. Upgrades will include new carpet only because I want teak looking vinyl, Captain's Call exhaust because I like loud noises coming from things that go fast and somehow re-doing the wood trim on the helm and co-captain area. I like the wood but its faded and dated. I'm thinking a wrap with carbon fiber or engine turning or something. MAY....heavy on the may...add a swim platform. I've seen a couple pictures of 206's with extended platforms and it looks like it will hamper raising the drive all the way up. Might not be as big of a deal as I think it is.

I've been a fire fighter for pert near 30 years and its time to treat myself. I had a Harley for a few years but a police officer in West Des Moines where I work was killed in the line of duty when a mom-rocket (minivan) turned in front of him as he was leaving the courthouse. I sold it that afternoon. Really really looking forward to this, taking my shift mates and friends and family out for a cruise. I know I"ll have some questions and whatnot so I'll bug some of you later.

Ok we are here to help you spend money. So I would buy this swim platform and see if it will fit or I would modify it a bit to make it fit. You can buy the brackets and the step no prob. Parts for Cobalts are easy to come by.
Also the dash pieces can by replaced by the factory ones as Yt found the company that makes them. There is a sticky on here for that company.
Don't worry just getting started. Add seadek flooring through out. It's not that expensive and all of those companies are really easy to work with and have great Customer service.
Let's get some leds in that baby including the cup holders and a upgraded sound system.
Again congrats

Hello from Des Moines! We frequent Red Rock and Saylorville (I'm less than a mile from Lakeview boat ramp). Great looking Cobalt. Hope to see you out on the water and on the forum!

So that's interesting...I can be in El Dorado in about 5 hours. I'll be making a phone call in the morning...

Where would one find the "sticky" regarding the dash panels? Tried a couple searches without any luck.

Here you go. It's not really a sticky. When BB tries to use his phone while surfing CobaltChat and eating pancakes at the same time, everything becomes a sticky.
