I’ve never understood the point of the bathroom on an open bow boat. I’ve now had 2 with them and both the first thing I did was yank the portie. Makes for awesome storage though!

Do you know if this is R7 only or R5 as well?

I need to order one of those. I yanked the potty out of my R5 Surf and am using it for storage. The lake we are on has 7 lakeside restaurants and numerous other resorts so a head is pointless with a bathroom never more than a couple minutes away.

You got that right. And the drain they put in there is great to help with wet tubes after use.

I always thought they were great until I actually tried to use one of the durn things. Its easier to fold into thirds and change the spark plugs than it is trying to back into the head on my boat and do your bidness.

It's like trying to get into a 5 gallon bucket, maneuver around, drop your drawers and sit down.

We only had to use the Head twice in all our years of boating in a Cobalt....both times were from teenagers who had an emergency blow out. I made them empty & clean it at the end of the day.

That's great! Ditto on the porta pottie. When we bought our boat a year ago I figured we'd prep it and use it for my daughter. After cleaning up other kids' s**t more times that my own daughter's, it got yanked out, cleaned out really good, and stuck in the attic. Where it will remain forever unless we go on a long camping trip up Lake Powell or somewhere far away from a marina.

To funny, the only reason we bought the 26 SD was for the head. My wife said this spring, "I 52 yrs old. When the f&*k can I stop dragging my a$$ in 60 degree water to have a leak?

Now there is some contorting to use it for sure, but we figured a way anybody can use it. Door open, seat back rest flipped forward, throw a large beach towel over the back rest and window, turn up the stereo, and Ta Da! Another flush sent to the waste tank! Only had to pump it out twice all season.

Keep in mind that we are often 25 Nm to the nearest restraunt or marina.

In cold water I'd figure out a way. No doubt.

But then again if the water was always cold like you guys up north, I'd have something else to do for fun a relaxation. Like chopping firewood.

Water will hit the mid 70's for a couple of weeks each summer. We had 77 here for 3 days then a storm came through and stirred everything up. Temps went back down to 68 for a couple of days till it could re-stratify. Up in the rivers it got to 80 for a week.

Boating is just a way to take my mind off of the fact that it's not sledding season. Oh ya, 14 more Fridays till the trails open!!

Hahaha, I won’t be without a power flushing toilet. Women pee frequently, especially when drinking beer....and after years of “I gotta pee” I don’t want to hear it, and now I don’t have to!
