Hello, All-
I’m taking delivery of a CS22 in approximately one week. Purchased a model off the showroom floor and having some upgrades installed by the dealer, one of which is a Garmin GPS. Apparently this unit replaces the center gauge (tach, engine management data) in the three gauge cluster. I haven’t had much luck getting info on this arrangement- brochure/ web site not much help, no units equipped as such at the dealership. Anyone out there have photos/ info/ experience with this configuration/ installation? Thank you.

Thanks, BBP. I wanted to go this route as it interfaces with the Volvo engine management and the install sounds a lot cleaner. The thought of carving up/ drilling/ installing on a post mount on a brand new dash doesn’t appeal to me at all!

I can’t help you on this either. But I would assume it would look something like an r3’s dash with the Garmin

Tg98- The R3 looks to be “all glass”. I think mine will be a hybrid analog/ digital.

Look up a 2016 r3 they had a mix between analog and digital if you did the Garmin option.

I have a 2018 CS22 with the factory installed Garmin. It sits in the center of the dash. To the left is a gauge that is strictly speedometer. To the right is a tach with two little LCD displays that can each cycle through rudder indicator, trim, fuel level, water temp, air temp, battery power, RPM, and depth (and maybe a couple of other things).

Also, the Garmin will not be connected to the NMEA network...I had to do that myself.

You can sort of see it in this photo.
