New Member - Lake Norman, NC

Post by twc262 »

Hello all.

My wife and I purchased a 2006 Cobalt 262 back in May. We have had the best time on Lake Norman this summer with our 2 year old. We both grew up on lakes in SC but this is our first boat.

Ha! I beat the Cobalt OG's

Welcome TWC--She's beautiful.

Not to hijack, but We've been thinking of relocation to that area. How do you like it and LN vs Wylie in particular?

Thank you. We have not really spent much time on Lake Wylie so I do not have anything positive or negative to say about it. We have several friends with boats on Norman so that's why we chose to keep it there and there was only one dry storage facility I could locate reasonably close to Charlotte that could accommodate a 27' boat with an arch.

Hey look my younger brother! Nice looking boat you have there. I’ve got the same color combo but mine is a 2002. Also have the arch with red canvas. Let’s see some more pics!

Welcome from KANSAS City. My in laws live on Lake Norman. Seems like a nice lake. Haven’t spent much time on the water there to add any input though.

I have my "O" face knowing we got yet another member of the 260 series club on board. :o

You are going to love that model. Timeless, practical, fast, maneuverable, and sexy...all at the same time. :D . A real head turner.

Keep posting those pics....from one 260 series owner to another, welcome aboard mate!
