Does anyone know what model stereo comes standard in the CS22? I know it's a Rockford Fosgate but I can't find any info on it. I'm taking delivery of one by the end of the month and already contemplating some upgrades.

I looked at a 2018 CS22 before I got my 220. If yours has what I saw in the showroom, it is likely to be a PMX-5CAN inside the glove box, and a PMX-1R on the dash.

Thanks for the info! I've searched everywhere and haven't gotten a definite answer including asking my dealer. The only thing I did find was a Cobalt brochure that incorrectly stated it comes standard with a JL Audio sound system which isn't the case.

Wait and see. In my case (2018 220S, which has similar audio options), I got the Rockford Fosgate head, JL Audio amps, JL speakers inside, and Sony Transom speakers. Going by the total number of components, you could say that I have a JL audio system. Since I'm on a lake with lots of nearby boats, and I'm never going to win a war against the boats with 8 weaponized tower speakers anyway, what I've got meets my needs. Welcome to the group, BTW.

That is exactly right. The PMX-5CAN is hidden between the glove box and bow storage area. You have to take out a small chunk of that wall to get to it. It's just sitting there hidden with the display on. No idea why they didn't use the PMX-8BB, which is made for that sort of application.

Yep, it seems odd to hide away the unit with the display. It might be to reduce the total number of parts to stock, it might have been a supply issue that month. At least this way, if you change the head, the 5can is more generally useful for resale. On my 220S, the 5can is flush mounted through the back of the glove box, so the display and controls are available.

It is getting close to the end of the month, maybe MakeIt has taken delivery, and just can't decide which of many pictures to upload.

I'm actually am taking delivery Saturday so believe me there will be pictures as soon as I get them!
