HAPPY CANADA DAY WEEKEND!

Welcome to the official start to summer in Canada!
Looking like great weather here in Atlantic Canada . Just about to launch the old 26, steam upriver to pick up a few friends, and steam 20 miles down the shore for breakfast. Looking forward the temps finally climbing into the 80's this week. Water temp is still cold at 60, but a week or two of heat will fix that up.

Its a wonder ya'll dont burn up!
Seriously, it sounds delicious. Especially when our heat index hits 110. I swear I dont see how Thunder does it in Phoenix.

When it hits the upper 80s, I head to the basement, or to the boat, cause Heat sucks!
One of the benefits to living on an island, is that it you always have someplace close to cool down.
Tomorrows humidex is 102! That's the hottest it's been here for years. They have put out a Heat Warning for the next 3 days, just in time for me to go back on shift wearing a dark blue uniform. Awesome!

We had a record here today just south of you WW. .... 94 in Erie! It beat the old record of 91.
Man I love being on a Boat & swimming during those temps!

Thanks, we had we wicked fun weekend. Put 90 miles on the boat, had drinks and a bunch of laughs. Time to get serious about summer. 8 more weekends and a fella will be moving the kids back to university.
